Numi — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Numi, we collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account data: Email address, display name, and profile information.
• Task & goal data: Tasks, goals, journal entries, reflections, and progress you create within the app.
• Health data: Step count, distance, and calories (only if you connect Samsung Health / Health Connect). This data stays on our servers and is never sold or shared with third parties.
• Calendar data: Calendar events (only if you connect Google Calendar), used solely to suggest optimal task scheduling.
• Usage data: Anonymized analytics to improve app performance and features.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Numi service.
• Personalize your experience with AI-powered suggestions and insights.
• Send push notifications (only if you opt in).
• Improve our services through anonymized, aggregated analytics.
• Process payments for optional premium features via Stripe.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• OpenAI: Task descriptions may be sent to generate AI suggestions. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and donations.
• Supabase: Secure database hosting and authentication.
• Google AdMob: To serve ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers per Google's privacy policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

5. Your Rights

• Access your data through the app.
• Correct your profile and task information.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• Export your data by contacting us.
• Opt out of AI personalization and analytics via Settings → Privacy.

6. Children's Privacy

Numi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
